MBA bitch!

For those who don't know me (which is just about everyone), I am going to begin my pursuits of obtaining an MBA this fall. As I am super exciting about it, I can't help but wonder how things are going to be for the next couple years. Am I scared? Not really. Am I anxious? Maybe a little. Most would think that the 120-150 thousand dollar loan is what drives this ambivalence, but for me it is the uncertainty of what lies ahead. Will I get a good job? How will the new job market perform when I graduate? What will my pay be? Will my girlfriend leave me :)? Don't get me wrong, this event is certainly one of the most proud of my life, but for some reason I am heading into this with some apprehension. Probably just cold feet.

Just to fill everyone in. I am in at the University of Michigan and on the waitlist at Chicago GSB. Due to several reasons, I would prefer to go to Chicago and I have worked diligently to make that happen. I have sent in additional info in the form of an essay highlighting updates in my life, 2 letters of recommendation, and a powerpoint presentation illustrating my desire to go to the GSB. I will find out next week if I get in, but if I don't, I know it just wasn't meant to be.

My first post on my blog. Yipee!

What to write, what to write? Well, there is so much I could. Let's start off with the basics,
Demographics: white male, age 28
Height: 6'4"
Weight: 220 lbs
Education: B.S. in biochemistry form the University of Michigan. GO BLUE!
Likes: sports (most specifically soccer, football, golf, and basketball), performing arts (used to be an improv artist), people watching.
Dislikes: bad breath and Jared Fogle (good for him that he lost all that weight, but come on)

I am currently in the middle of my MBA pursuits. I have been accepted to the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and am on the waiting list at the Chicago GSB.

That's all for now. Yea, I know...kinda boring, but I am just getting warmed up.
